Embarking on a Kilimanjaro trekking adventure, except for the Marangu Route, entails a thrilling camping experience. Our team ensures that you are comfortably accommodated in 4 season bombproof alpine mountain tents, strategically placed in secluded areas within accessible campsites. Mealtimes are enjoyed in a mess tent, while lunch is typically served in the open air or inside a mess tent, or provided as convenient lunch boxes for longer walking distances, unless weather conditions are unfavorable. As a self-contained unit, our group travels together, with porters carrying all necessary gear, and each participant responsible for their own day pack.

During your Kilimanjaro expedition, camping becomes an integral part of the adventure. Our well-equipped 4 season bombproof alpine mountain tents provide a comfortable resting place amidst the breathtaking surroundings. Although the campsites may be shared with other groups, we endeavor to select secluded locations, ensuring a sense of tranquility and privacy. To foster a sense of camaraderie and provide shelter, mess tents are erected at each campsite. These serve as a gathering point for daily climb briefings and are where breakfast and dinner are served.

To ensure a seamless experience, our trekking expeditions are designed as self-contained units. Our dedicated porters bear the responsibility of carrying all essential equipment, including tents, cooking supplies, food, and all the luggage. By entrusting these tasks to our skilled crew, you can focus on enjoying the journey. However, it is important to note that you will be required to carry your own day pack containing personal items needed throughout the day. This arrangement allows for a balanced and well-organized trekking experience.

In line with environmental conservation efforts, our team strictly adheres to guidelines that prohibit damaging wood fires. Instead, our experienced crew prepares meals using gas flames, ensuring a safe and eco-friendly cooking process. Additionally, our responsible approach includes setting up and dismantling the campsite each night and morning.
